An amazing day

“Three, two, one, GO!” The race had started and they were ready to win. I cheered for my mum and dad hoping that they would come in the top 3, but it was all about fun really. They had to run through Panmure, up the mountain, back down the mountain and turn around again.

Next, there was the wheelbarrow race. Someone sits in the wheelbarrow and one person had to push the wheelbarrow, and another person had to pull the wheelbarrow. Then the kids’ race started, but I wasn’t in it. There was also a long run from Panmure to Pt. England and back.

I finally saw my dad, then came my mum. A lot of people had already passed them. What tired looks they had on their faces, but I couldn’t wait to get to the beach afterwards because it was hot.

We went to judges Bay in Parnell, the tide was out, what a shame but at least I got to go to the furthest platform and jumped off there.  Afterwards we had a play at the park near the beach and my uncle shouted us a ice cream and some Mcdonalds. What an awesome day.

I really wished that I was there because it sounds really fun. Keep up the good job.
