In this picture the year 7 & 8 girls are getting ready to race. We are doing the 200 metre race and we are going to try our best.

Ratios are cool!

I have learnt that ratios shows  the amount of one thing  is compared to another. My score reflects my understanding of ratio's.

In Room 7 during maths I have been learning how to simplify fractions and decimals, this score shows my understanding.

In Room 7 we have been learning about Advent and the natural symbols that represent the Summer season.

Preparing for Christ

In Room 7 we have been learning how Christians prepare for Advent  and the Church prepares for the coming of Christ.Christ comes into the world to enter the hearts of all people to share his life with them. 

Summer time

The sun was shining bright and we were off to the Parnell baths. It was packed with people ready to have fun. and as we arrived I could hear the sounds of laughter and excitement. And the best thing is, it was free for kids under 16 and adults were quite cheap too. We found a good place to put our things and then I ran straight to the pool.

It was salt water so it was just like being at the beach. The first thing I went to was the warm pool with the park, slide and fountains in it. It was awesome. Next I went into the cold pool and jumped off the diving board. After that I went into a hot pool and it was really relaxing. I had a great time there.

We stayed there for quite a while until it was near closing time. It was one of the best days ever. It was time to leave and we were all hungry. We stopped at the dairy and I bought a mince and cheese pie and a choc bar ice cream. What a delicious treat.

I arrived home and happy to see my baby brother but he was fast asleep. I just felt like resting after a long day. I hopped on the bed, turned the television on and fell fast asleep after a big day. I was dreaming of the lovely day I had.
